In this exhibition, Dorothee Passin presents a selection of her photographs on the themes of flowers, architecture, and silhouettes. The focus here is on different design elements. In the floral motifs, it is color and structure, while in the buildings, facade details are highlighted from different angles. The photographs with silhouettes are created through the deliberate use of light, leaving it up to the viewer to imagine the real object. The exhibition is on display until the end of July.

„Kunst im Blauen Land“

The exhibition “Kunst im Blauen Land” is a collective exhibition of 12 artists from different fields and takes place at the same time as many of Schlehdorf’s 1250th anniversary celebrations. From mid-June, the old English roses will bloom again in the monastery’s courtyard.

Ausstellung „33rpm300dpi“
9.11.2012 – 17.11.2012 – Galerie Rauminhalt in Wien
The exhibition 33rpm300dpi brings together works by graduates of the 33rd class of the “Prager Fotoschule Österreich.” In highly personal statements, 18 artists explore the translation of acoustic stimuli into visual ones. From formal translations to emotional interpretations, the works represent individual approaches and different ways of transforming music into another medium.
The results of this intensive exploration will be on display from November 9 to November 17, 2012, as part of“eyes on – Month of Photography” at the Rauminhalt Gallery.

The exhibition “RosenBlütenRausch“ presents works from a wide variety of artistic fields, including photography, on the theme of roses. It takes place at the same time as the roses are in bloom in the monastery’s historic rose garden, making a visit a truly special experience.

„Dorothee Passin composes her photos like a painter composes his paintings,“ wrote the Dachauer Nachrichten newspaper in 2007 on the occasion of the first ”Blumen,Blüten,Blätter“ exhibition. The pictures show a spectrum ranging from classic to modern design. The photos were printed on canvas, as the fine structure of the substrate highlights the bright colors of the motifs.
